BLUSHING SUMMER GOLDS Urban Decay's Alice in Wonderland Palette

HELLOOOOOoo~~~ long time no see! I've been avoiding putting this video up because of the voice-over section: VERY unhappy with it! The sound quality makes me so sad :(:(:( this was recorded soooo long ago!!!! ..sooo I think it's safe to say it's the end of my voice-over trials.

I knowwwwww I've been using this palette for forever - but keep in mind, I am on a budget ... so let's just pretend that I own a lot of Urban Decay single shadows =) ...& speaking of a budget, I even bothered to RANSACK through my mom's old things and found an aaaaaancient Givenchy blush trio that was (surprisingly) perfect for my skin! I'm sure it doesn't exist anywhere anymore - apparently my dad bought it for their first anniversary or something.

Recently, this has been my go-to look for work, as well as when I wear these contacts :) It's a greaat look for brown eyes - it really brings out the warmth & makes it look extra sparkly. I loove this for a quick summer look cuz it lets me look fresh while still having a complete and polished, work-appropriate face. QuickquickQUICK is my motto before work & this took VERY little time to finish.

(keep in mind that these pictures were taken in the nighttime after a full day of work w/o reapplying)

GRADUATION: from day into night - inspired by Lady Gaga in Alejandro!

It's that time of the year again!! I know this is a little late - colleges & universities have graduated already (congrats!!) - but I'm sure elementary and high school students still have less than a month to go! I've been meaning to re-create this look for awhile since... this was actually basically the same bronzey look I used leaving the world of high school :O. Of course, I didn't have the Alice palette back then - but I was lucky enough to have owned those two MAC shadow + pigments which were actually Christmas presents (thanks Trish!) :)
Now, for those on a budget, you could easily use Maybelline EyeStudio Quad in Give Me Gold, as well as other drugstore shadows.

Lucky me, Alejandro premiered and gave me more creative inspiration!

"Daily" FOUNDATION + CONCEALER (& a little Contouring!)

Photobucket
For this tutorial's purpose, I didn't bother retouching this photo.
You can see my tiny acne bumps & scars that I couldn't prevent from showing (especially with flash)
by the use of my medium-coverage foundation .. & even w/ concealer.
Nobody's perfect - but life is beautiful that way :)

INSPIRED: Glee's Rachel-Gaga in 1x20 Theatricality Hair & Makeup

Right now, I am currently gnawing my way at some jello ... struggling just to suck it out of the spoon into my mouth.
      Why?
I just got my 3rd wisdom tooth removed yesterday, and for some completely odd and terrible reason, my cheek has only gotten worse and more swollen :( :( :( (...I'm sure it has to do with me cheating and actually trying to eat solids :|)

Out of extreme luck, the day Theatricality aired I got my Gaga - Just Dance Sunglasses in the mail (:D!!!!). Not only did it tie into this outfit incredibly well, but it turns out that even Rachel was sporting similar shades! ..yes, my new bangs help to make the shades look more like a space invader. PEWPEW*!

To be honest, I reaaaaaally hated those eyelashes. The shape is unpractical, it goes on wobbly... idk. I'm definitely not pro at applying falsies, but I'm no n00b either. I guess I'll just have to practice using these ultra-dramatic $3 lashes.. :S

CORAL PINK PROM EYES

So sorry I've been loafting on the Crest White strips! I've actually only used up two by now - I've been too lazy and the pain scares me too much (I'm a big wuss) =c. I'll definitely post on the "3rd day", which would be the 6th strip(s) :)

(false lashes not included in this picture)

Not to brag or anything, but this look took me two seconds to whip it up. I just saw the coral-y color and got sooo excited!!! :) :)
This look would go well with any light colors, pastel, white, coral if you'd like to match. It really helps to brighten up the face while accenting brown & green ice really nicely.

"GLAM" PROM EYES!

Hope I'm not too late! But I do know that it's prom season right now, so what better look to do?
I know some people hope to go ALL OUT during prom, but I thought for those who don't wanna be remembered as a clown, then this would be suitable :) (just kidding!)
This look is fairly neutral, so I think it would go with many dress colors! Neutrals such as black, white, silver, grey, or brown; or even some colors like purple or blue. I wouldn't immediately run to this look for a bright colored dress, but the procedure is simple and very versatile to accompany any dress color or type :) Hope you like!

Everyday Face/"Natural" Glow

Inga here! Our first official Face of the Day (FOTD) segment continued by the lovely Miss Ingrid :p

This is literally my go-to face.

When I'm on my way to school, the boyfriend's house (sometimes; he usually prefers me au naturale), (ex)work, etc etc, the only time for me to actually get ready is on transit (bus, subway) ..so THIS. IS. IT!!!! ....though I totally don't advise you guys to do make-up on-the-go. Totally dangerous. If I wasn't so awesome, I could've poked my eye out (I'm almost always 87% there). Mind you, my travel time usually takes 45 mins to an hour since my school is downtown and my boyfriend lives in a different city, so I get a little bored and maybe a little overboard with this routine.
Let me assure you - all those extra steps are going to be helpful. I know it might be a little too much for everyday use? ..but since I don't actually go OUT every single day, my face gets ample time to breathe. My face is acne prone and I have lots of redness/discoloration from scarring and ...I'm guessing just hormones?... so I'm definitely not perfect.
