"Daily" FOUNDATION + CONCEALER (& a little Contouring!)

For this tutorial's purpose, I didn't bother retouching this photo.
You can see my tiny acne bumps & scars that I couldn't prevent from showing (especially with flash)
by the use of my medium-coverage foundation .. & even w/ concealer.
Nobody's perfect - but life is beautiful that way :)

RED LIPS SWATCHES / REVLON SUPER LUSTROUS LIPSTICK REVIEW

      Since I'm still healing from my wisdom tooth contraction, any filming whatsoever won't be available until ... hopefully this weekend the soonest at least :S I'm really getting tired of this swollen cheek, and especially since it's on the side I looove to sleep on, I've been waking up really cranky and exhausted *sigh

      While I'm still not camera-presentable, I finally got the time to swatch these new lippies I got just last week, the day of the Sex & the City 2 premiere! :) There was a sale on Revlon Super Lustrous lippies for $4.99 I think, which is a huuuge break since they're usually almost $10!!! (yes, I'm cheap, but I am unemployed so you gotta give a girl a break here). I went on a red lipstick RAMPAGE! Even though I've totally already fallen in love with my YSL Rouge Volupte #16 - which is a nice orangey red (swatched below), I thought I'd give other reds a whirl :) ..in the meantime, I quickly passed by MAC at the Bay to pick up Crosswires - the perfect Coral Pink for my complection - using a gift card I got for my birthday.

      Right now, I am currently gnawing my way at some jello ... struggling just to suck it out of the spoon into my mouth.
      Why?
      I just got my 3rd wisdom tooth removed yesterday, and for some completely odd and terrible reason, my cheek has only gotten worse and more swollen :( :( :( (...I'm sure it has to do with me cheating and actually trying to eat solids :|)

      Out of extreme luck, the day Theatricality aired I got my Gaga - Just Dance Sunglasses in the mail (:D!!!!). Not only did it tie into this outfit incredibly well, but it turns out that even Rachel was sporting similar shades! ..yes, my new bangs help to make the shades look more like a space invader. PEWPEW*!








      To be honest, I reaaaaaally hated those eyelashes. The shape is unpractical, it goes on wobbly... idk. I'm definitely not pro at applying falsies, but I'm no n00b either. I guess I'll just have to practice using these ultra-dramatic $3 lashes.. :S

CORAL PINK PROM EYES

      So sorry I've been loafting on the Crest White strips! I've actually only used up two by now - I've been too lazy and the pain scares me too much (I'm a big wuss) =c. I'll definitely post on the "3rd day", which would be the 6th strip(s) :)

      Not to brag or anything, but this look took me two seconds to whip it up. I just saw the coral-y color and got sooo excited!!! :) :)
      This look would go well with any light colors, pastel, white, coral if you'd like to match. It really helps to brighten up the face while accenting brown & green ice really nicely.

"GLAM" PROM EYES!

Hope I'm not too late! But I do know that it's prom season right now, so what better look to do?
I know some people hope to go ALL OUT during prom, but I thought for those who don't wanna be remembered as a clown, then this would be suitable :) (just kidding!)
This look is fairly neutral, so I think it would go with many dress colors! Neutrals such as black, white, silver, grey, or brown; or even some colors like purple or blue. I wouldn't immediately run to this look for a bright colored dress, but the procedure is simple and very versatile to accompany any dress color or type :) Hope you like!

Crest White Strips 7-day Challenge

      Following my excitement over the cheap Crest Premiums, I decided to keep a daily log of my results. ...sadly, this is right after I did my first strip 'cuz the idea didn't come to me until then. LoL.
      Keep in mind that I'll also be using my Scope whitening mouthwash which might speed up the results just a liiitle bit, but I'll use it as little as possible to create a more realistic result.

     I actually had braces.. so here's a short story to these embarrassing teeth: for those of you who had braces, you know that you get permanent "retainers" in the back of your teeth - well my upper one broke and I never bothered to get it fixed. And I never bothered to wear my actual retainers.. which is why you see that tooth on the right sticking up lolll woops!

      Day one of this and my front teeth are already acting up :| I have a tiny problem with teeth sensitivity, but it usually doesn't bother me at all??? Even my boyfriend whose teeth are more sensitive than mine (can't eat cold foods w/o crying) didn't have a problem with the strips, so maybe it's just me.

      Since my teeth are pretty sensitive, I might just do one strip a day - instead of two - which will make this a 14-day Challenge. Who knows! I might just man it up instead :)

      It's been a long time since I whitened my teeth... probably first year of High School? I used Crest Whitestrips Classics back then (since it was the cheapest one) and it worked pretty great! The only reason I actually haven't re-whitened is because they worked so well I didn't feel the need to! I didn't even get to finish the entire box - mainly because of sensitive teeth complications - but my teeth were at the whiteness I desired. ..which was almost an unnatural white (which is a good thing in this case!!).
      It wasn't that hard trying to keep my teeth white-er than usual. I also used Scope White as a whitening Mouthwash to maintain the clean, white-looking feel. It works pretty well on both the whitening and mouthwash part. I like it even better since it doesn't have such a harsh alcohol feel to it, unlike Listerine which stiings like a biznatch! So if you like a gentle mouthwash, Scope White is a good alternative to going straight to bleaching strips.
